Simon is above all a friend: I was fortunate enough that he messaged me on instagram out of the blue in 2020 about a picture I had posted.
We ended up keeping in contact, and sometime in the spring of 2021, he told me that he had recently left his job at MB&F and was thinking of creating his own watch.

In June that year, he became a father, and we would chat (late at night for him in France, a more reasonable hour for me in New York) about his ideas, and over the course of that summer, he began developing something incredibly special.
In early 2022, he offered me the opportunity to participate in the subscription process for this watch, and I'm very glad I accepted.
那年的六月，他當爸爸了，所以我們會在夜深人靜的時候討論他的構想（對在法國的他來說是深夜，而對於身處紐約的我則是一個較合理的時間），就在那個夏天，他開始著手開發一些極其特別的款式。2022年初，他提供我訂製認購這款錶的機會，而我也很高興能夠參與其中。
