Armin Strom has been on my radar for a while now. And the Resonance collection is the reason why. It is mesmerizing to see the two balance wheels interact with each other, with the spring vibrating in front of your eyes.
我關注Armin Strom已有一段時間，原因正是Resonance系列。看著兩枚擺輪相互配合運作、游絲在眼前振動，那種機械律動的美感，讓人無法移開目光。

When they combined the Resonance mechanism and one of the most useful complications (to me, at least), GMT, two years ago, I know I had to add it to my collection. But maybe not this version...
The dial color and the case material of the First Edition didn't quite speak to me. So I passed, and decided to wait... see what came next.
兩年前，當品牌將Resonance共振機制與我認為最實用的複雜功能之一——GMT兩地時間結合時，我就知道我必須將它納入收藏。只是，未必會是當時的那個版本。
初代版本的錶盤配色與錶殼材質並沒有完全打動我。因此我先放下了，並決定耐心等待接下來將會推出的版本。
Turns out, waiting was the right call. This Manufacture Edition that came out at last year's Watches & Wonders is exactly what I was hoping for. The monochromatic look keeps the Resonance mechanism the star of the show, while keeping the otherwise busy dial very minimal-looking. The steel case feels modern and unpretentious, and 39mm case size hits the sweet spot on my wrist.
事實證明，等待是正確的選擇。去年Armin Strom在Watches & Wonders錶展上發表的Dual Time Resonance Manufacture Edition，正是我夢寐以求的腕錶。單色調設計讓錶內的Resonance共振系統成為矚目焦點，同時也讓原本略顯繁複的錶盤變得更簡約。不鏽鋼錶殼散發出現代而不張揚的氣質，39mm的錶徑也完美貼合我的手腕。
Full disclosure: I pulled the trigger without ever seeing it in person. Went straight to requesting an allocation off the announcement. Probably not my smartest move, but sometimes you just know. And this time, it worked out.
坦白說，我是在完全沒有親眼見過實錶的情況下做出決定。發表當下我便直接提出了配額申請。這或許不是我最理性的做法，但有些時候，你就是會有那種直覺。而這一次，我的感覺是對的。
